Exhibition from 18th of June 2025 at "Alte Druckerei Ottensen / Weinklang" at Bahrenfelder Str. 73D, 22765 Hamburg in ccoperation with India Week Hamburg 2025. A new cycle of eight paintings by the artist Ulf Ludzuweit is dedicated to a particularly enjoyable Indian way of life, which was magnificently presented in the visual arts and architecture of ancient India.
In dem Schaufenster zur Bahrenfelder Straße 81 des Schuhhauses Meier präsentiere ich zwei Ölgemälde „Verflossen 1, die Welle“, „Verflossen 2“, beide auf Holzplatte aufgezogen und im Format 70 * 100 cm, sowie das Gemäldediptychon „Ying-Yang“, Format 2 x 70 * 50 cm, Acryl auf Leinwand. Auf den Rückseiten der Gemälde gibt es auch etwas zu entdecken – viel Spaß!

Exhibition in relation to "Wentorfer Kulturwoche" The cities in our world are getting bigger and bigger and this expresses also the globalization - the topic of the picture panels of artist Ulf Ludzuweit.
Exhibiton opening will be on rhe 25th of May at 12 o´clock.

In a short lecture, the chairwoman, Ulrike Lorenzen, gave insights into the work of the sponsorship community and reports about India at the exhibition opening. The "Eurasian Figure" exists as a female and a male design. This sculpture has two origins: One is the Chinese character “REN" ( = human being); the other origin is from the European middle age. Painters like Hieronymus Bosch used such "head leg figures" in a lot of different ways in their paintings as a symbol for the change of the european middle age society into a new society with science and human values.
Signpost indicating network: Using the "Eurasian Figure" as a guiding system will create a unique artwork, which has a real function. The direction the sculpture is "walking" you have to walk as an pedestrian to reach a determined place in urban space for example in new erected borrows in the growing cities worldwide.
